Announcements Welcome to Humanities for Study Period 2! Posted on: Saturday, 20 May 2023 09:05:40 o'clock AWST Hi everyone Welcome to Humanities for Study Period 2, 2023. In this unit you will gain deeper insight into some of the most important issues and challenges facing the modern world, and hopefully you will be inspired to make positive changes to help your family, your community, and the world. I hope you've had the chance to read through the Before you Begin section (see the menu to the left of the Blackboard screen), particularly if you have not previously studied this unit. Also, click on the Unit Outline link and download the outline; have a look at the Program Calendar at the end of your unit outline, as it lists all the weekly topics, and tells you when the assessments are due. It will be important that you attend our weekly Collaborate sessions which will be held each Tuesday from 4pm to 5pm WST. Our collaborate sessions are where you can ask questions about the weekly topics and the assessment tasks. You can use the “chat” section to type a question, the microphone to ask me a question or you can simply come along and listen – it’s up to you. The sessions will also be recorded for you to listen to if you're unable to attend. If you have not used Collaborate Ultra before, you need to click on the Collaborate Information link and read the information provided so that you'll be set up and ready to join the sessions - you only need to do this once. If using Collaborate for the first time, you will be prompted to go through a quick tutorial when you access Collaborate Ultra; it won’t take long! For general questions about the unit content you can use our Discussion Board as your questions and the response I provide to them will also assist other students studying this unit.
